Travel day.
On the road at 8.45am. The trip distance meter in the car clicked over to 5,000km today! We have consumed 6oo litres of fuel so far.
Called into the famous Hot Springs at Mataranka and had a swim at 10.30am. Arrived into Katherine at 1.20pm. It looks like a nice town. Again Aboriginals sitting on footpaths in the main street as far as the eye can see but that's just how it is up here. Set up camp at the Big4. Nice surroundings and facilities and most importantly a huge pool. The girls would live in the pool if they could.
